THE TALLEST GIRL IN THE WORLD HAS FOUND A BOYFRIEND

At the age of 14 she had a height of 2 m 6 cm. Often missed lessons and eventually leaved school. She says she didn’t fit in the school bus.

– Peers scoff at me, because I cannot play with them. Things are not easier at home. I live with my mother, stepfather and sisters in a small house. All the time I hit my head on the ceiling. People on the street look at me.

Elisany Silva was born and lives in a village 36 km from the center of Bragança in the Brazilian state of Para. The spouses – 39-year-old fisher Jorge Luis Miranda and 36-year-old Annie Maria Cruz have six more children.

“My daughter suffers because she’s not like everyone else,” her mother Anna Cruz says.

The girl began to grow rapidly at age 11. Her family is poor, lacking money for medical examinations. One Brazilian expert suggested from the photo that Silva has gigantism – a deviation when the body produces an excess amount of growth hormone.

Elisany is the tallest teenager in the world. Every year she grew 11–12 cm. While the norm for girls of her age is 3-4 cm.

After removing the tumor, at the age of 15, she lost a centimeter. But this was not enough to hope to get on the school bus again.

She is now 17 years old, and her height is more than two meters. Brazilian Elisany Silva da Cruz is glad to have found a “little” friend, even if he is 42 cm lower than her.
