Neuroimaging (MRI/CT)

Neuroimaging for diseases of the pituitary gland includes:

1). Craniography (X-ray of the skull – with a focus on the Sella turcica)

2). X-ray CT (X-ray computed tomography)

3). MRI (magnetic resonance imaging)

The best method for diagnosing pituitary tumors is T1 mode MRI with contrast enhancement.
